The number of those infected with coronavirus in Albania has reached six, the Ministry of Health reported on Monday.
Four more people were diagnosed with COVID-19 this evening, three of which are relatives of the first two cases announced today early in the morning.
The fourth person is a 31-year-old man who had traveled to Milan, Italy last week. Exit News reported his case earlier today before authorities announced it late this evening.
77 people have been tested in Albania since the virus outbreak.
All six patients are in stable condition, receiving treatment in Tirana’s Mother Teresa Hospital.
The ministry called upon all persons who have traveled to affected countries and show flu symptoms to call 127 so that doctors can determine if they need to be tested for the coronavirus infection.
