An American Congressional delegation met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on July 3rd in a bid to improve Russian-American bilateral relations. The meeting with U.S. lawmakers precedes the approaching Trump-Putin summit in Helsinki, Finland on July 16th, where both sides will be looking for a breakthrough in the strained relationship.
