Congressman Devin Nunes at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) said today the only evidence of collusion during the 2016 election was between the Clinton Campaign and the Russian Federation. The Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee has been at the center of the maelstrom over the Robert Mueller special counsel investigation into any possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin. Nunes also initiated an investigation into FISA court abuse after being tipped off by certain intelligence assets that the Obama administration had been using the FISA court to spy on the Trump campaign.
Trump Says No Reset Button For Russia
Nunes declared the evidence into collusion between the Democratic Party and Moscow was very clear and not circumstantial. “The fact that the Clinton Campaign paid for dirt against the Trump Campaign and the money found its way to Russian agents is just completely unacceptable.”
The Russia Narrative Is Dying, So Trust Your Gut President Trump
The Chairman also stated that Congressional authorization of the FISA court would end if the FBI and the Executive Branch cannot make the American people comfortable that abuse of the process will no longer happen.
