White House Requests Another $38 Billion In Aid For Ukraine – Are They Taking Advantage Of The Lame-Duck Session?

As Congress enters a lame-duck session after the recent midterm elections, Joe Biden’s administration is taking the opportunity to fast-track one last outrageously large aid package to Ukraine. The White House has requested an additional $38 billion in aid for the country at war with Russia. If Congress approves the package, it would bring the total in U.S. aid to Ukraine to a staggering $104 billion in less than a year.

Russia Accuses UK Of Crimea Attacks – Will Bring ‘Evidence’ Forward

According to Moscow, the British ambassador will be called upon in the “near future” to be presented with “evidence” that the UK’s military assisted with a drone assault on its Black Sea flagship on Saturday. While the Kremlin has not offered up any proof as of yet, the Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova said, “The UK ambassador will be summoned and will be given the appropriate materials” at some point “in the near future.”

Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu, made his second call in three days to U.S. Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, on Sunday. The subject of the call was a bizarre accusation from Putin claiming that the Ukrainian military is preparing to provoke Russia by detonating a radioactive “dirty bomb.” Shoigu made similar calls to other Western countries including Britain, France, and Turkey. Lloyd purportedly told Shoigu that he “rejected any pretext for Russian escalation.”
