Turkish President Recep Erdogan today backed Russian President Vladimir Putin in his pubic spat with U.S. President Joe Biden. Biden called Putin a ‘killer’ this week and threatened Russia would ‘pay a price’. It is worth pointing out that Biden is fine with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) which holds over a million citizens in concentration camps, commits genocide, and harvests organs from political prisoners.
Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, is in business with the CCP to this day. The White House said Hunter Biden is ‘working’ to divest from the business relationship.
“Mr. Biden’s comment about Putin does not suit a head of state,” Erdogan was quoted as saying after Friday prayers in Istanbul, reported The Moscow Times.
“For me, Mr. Putin has done what is necessary by giving a very, very smart, very classy response,” he added.
Turkey recently bought the S-400 air defense missile system from Russia, but remains a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The Trump administration restricted access to the F-35 fighter aircraft in retaliation.
