Democrats do not take control of Congress until January 2027. But the conflict they hope to preserve is already being supported by them. Their true agenda to remove Donald Trump from office is now out of the closet.
According to the Financial Times a $15 billion security assistance package for Ukraine is being discussed by Congressional Democrats. The report was based on information provided by an unnamed Democratic aide on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. No bill number, nor author, nor even text, is mentioned in the FT report. The report simply states that there are discussions going on about the possible package, and that is the main point.
While Democrats did win both the House and Senate in the recent elections, they will not actually take control of Congress until January 2027. Thus, some of their wish list could be included in the annual defense bill such as funds for energy support to Ukraine. However, it is not clear that the full $15 billion would move that way.
There had been a slowdown in satellite connectivity to Ukraine in October which had affected the military. However, normal speeds had been restored by October 24. Even though the facts surrounding who ordered the restriction are not yet clear, the Democrats have already begun to demand that Elon Musk preserve all documents relating to the matter for congressional oversight.
Also under consideration by Democrats, according to reports, are the business dealings of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who have both been involved in recent discussions about potential deals for Ukraine and Iran. But so far, no deal has been announced and no allegation has been specified against either man. The report notes that no committee has been assigned to investigate the matter and no subpoenas have been issued.
Melinda Haring, senior advisor at Razom for Ukraine, predicts a number of possible amendments to the defense bill, including ones regarding sanctions, intelligence and interceptor missiles. That’s a wish list of an advocacy group, to be sure, but it’s also that of a well known section of globalists and neocons who wish to prolong and expand the war against Russia as a proxy conflict.
Bill Taylor, a former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, said investigations should not get in the way of continuing to send arms and supporting Kyiv. Presidential foreign policy remains the sole domain of the President. The money and missiles Congressional Democrats are pricing out are how they try to lock the proxy war against Russia in before they can override him.
The “America First” foreign policy of the President is designed to put an end to that war. The $15 billion security assistance package that Democrats are looking to spend prior to them taking control of the House and/or Senate in January of 2027 would see to it that the war with Russia continues for another year or so. Getting the President out of the way, or locking him down so he cannot oppose their efforts to spend billions more on a war they want to continue, is all part of their agenda.
The information operation to take down the Trump agenda was not about Iran; it was about continuing the Ukraine war.
Now do you see it?
