Reports are coming in about explosions and fires that have erupted across several Russian oblasts, including Krasnodar Krai, Rostov, Voronezh, and Volgograd, from a massive drone attack on the Russian Federation by ‘Ukrainian’ forces.
Local sources have indicated that Ukrainian UAVs likely targeted military and strategically significant facilities, including a military camp in Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, where the Russian Navy airfield and aviation training centres are located.
At least 125 Ukrainian drones across seven regions, particularly over Volgograd, Rostov, and Voronezh oblasts were shot down according to sources. Damage includes fires, structural damage to residential areas, and military infrastructure, such as Millerovo Airfield.
Local governors have confirmed the destruction of several UAVs, causing fires and structural damage in Voronezh and Rostov. Firefighting operations are ongoing in impacted areas.
