Anti-globalist parties from Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova, both with names that translate as Renaissance, signed a cooperation agreement in Chișinău on Monday. Vazrazhdane, Bulgaria’s main opposition party, is a leading force in the anti-globalist struggle in the Balkans. Renaștere, is an anti-globalist party in Moldova working to impede the globalist takeover of the country formed on historical Romanian land illegally occupied by the Soviet Union at the end of World War II.
Commenting on the cooperation agreement on the party’s official Telegram channel, Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov said of Renaștere, “It has its own deputies in the country's parliament, who, like us, defend the independent development of their homeland and are against any external influence in its politics. It is precisely for this reason that it is subjected to systematic repression by the authorities – just like us.”
“Having established that we have common enemies and common problems, we decided that our actions should also be common,” Kostadinov continued. “Moreover, one of the deputies of the party is Bulgarian. We agreed to cooperate and support each other, with mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs – the way we want the international relations of our countries to be arranged.”
The Vazrazhdane delegation, led by Kostadinov, laid flowers in front of the monument of the Bulgarian militiamen, worshipped at the Bulgarian church in Chișinău, and paid homage at the monument to Bulgarian hero Hristo Botev, who fought to free his country from the Ottoman yoke in the nineteenth century, in the Moldovan capital.
“It may sound clichéd, but Moldova is truly a brotherly country to us, in which, in addition to the large Bulgarian population, a multinational people lives, which is extremely close to us in spirit, mentality, culture, and customs. I'll just say that March 1 hasn't come yet, but in all the city markets in Chișinău there are already stalls selling marțișor [traditional trinkets given on 1 March to welcome Spring].”
