Faced with increasing threats to the autonomy of his country from the illegal High Representative Christian Schmidt, who has moved to annul the democratic laws passed by the National Assembly, Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska filed a criminal complaint against the German colonial official with the District Prosecutor’s office in Banja Luka. He also filed a complaint against Dragan Prusina, director of the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dodik explained the move in a post on Twitter, “I filed a criminal complaint against Schmidt with the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka because he has been dealing with the affairs of the High Representative for a long time without authorization because he has not been invested in that office by the U.N. Security Council. With the intention of causing damage to the Republic of Serbia, Schmidt falsely presents himself as an official, knowing that he was not appointed in accordance with Annex 10 of the Dayton Peace Agreement. In doing so, he committed the criminal acts of unauthorized practice of a certain profession and false representation under Articles 310 and 313 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Srpska.”

“I also filed a criminal complaint against Dragan Prusina to the BiH Prosecutor's Office because, as the director of the Official Gazette of BiH, he knowingly violated the law, his influence, actions, and decisions enabling the publication of the decisions of the so-called High Representative in the Official Gazette of BiH, which resulted in a serious violation of the rights of the Republic of Srpska,” ” Dodik explained. “Prusina thereby committed criminal acts of abuse of position and unconscionable work in the service under Articles 220 and 224 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
