In a courageous move to defend democracy in the country, the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, Friday signed into law the bill adopted at the Seventh Special Session of the Republic’s Assembly, on June 21, 2023, banning publication in the official gazette, decrees imposed by illegitimate Office of High Representative occupied by German colonial administrator Christian Schmidt, a close associate of Angela Merkel.

In signing the bill into law, Dodik emphasized that Bosnia does not have an appointed high representative because the office was not filled in accordance with the terms of the Dayton Agreement that forms the basis for the political structure of Bosnia.

According to Annex X, article I, paragraph 2 of the Dayton Agreement, the designation of a High Representative, to be appointed consistent with relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, to facilitate the Parties' own efforts and to mobilize and, as appropriate, coordinate the activities of the organizations and agencies involved in the civilian aspects, of the peace settlement by carrying out, as entrusted by a. U.N. Security Council resolution, the tasks set out below.”

The President of Republika Srpska also pointed out that the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a decision issued in 2006, stated “The appointment [of the High Representative] is confirmed by the UN Security Council, which also approved the Dayton Peace Agreement.” As a result, Dodik declared “The High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina does not exist.”

The Russian Ambassador to Bosnia, Igor Kalabuhov, also called for the “immediate” closure of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said that the Office is impeding the democratic development of the entities comprising Bosnia.

Christian Schmidt had previously issued a decree to annul the decisions of the democratically elected National Assembly of Republika Srpska. “The law abolishing the obligation to publish the decisions of the high representative in the Official Gazette of the RS will not enter into force, and all procedures related to the adoption of that law have now been completed. I also decided that the law adopted by the National Socialist Republic of Serbia on the non-implementation of the decisions of the Constitutional Court Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot enter into force on the territory of that entity, and all legislative procedures in the adoption of this law have also been completed,” the German colonial administrator declared.

The American Embassy, which effectively controls the Muslim administration in Sarajevo, called Dodik’s move a “deliberate attack” on the Dayton Agreement, the Constitution, and the State of BiH, ominously warning that the U.S. will “hold individuals involved in anti-Dayton behavior accountable for their actions.” The Embassy’s declaration completely ignores both the specific terms of the Dayton Agreement cited above, as well as the democratic wishes of the population of Republika Srpska.

The U.S. Embassy, working with the illegal colonial administrator Christian Schmidt, is working to undermine democracy in Bosnia, while ignoring the wishes of the citizens of Republika Srpska in its efforts to maintain the artificial globalist multi-ethnic state it envisions.
