Video: Siberians Freak Out Over Independence Day Storm

A powerful – and sudden – storm engulfed the Siberian city of Barnaul late on Saturday. It left the city almost totally without electricity and caused water supply shortages. Traffic lights failed, and trees, fences, billboards were smashed. One man died as a crane collapsed.

The clouds were of such a shape that it reminded many of the ‘Independence Day’ clouds surrounding the alien spaceship as it emerged from the beyond into human sight.
